Katja has more than 20 years of experience in the area of design – from visual design to experience design, service design, business design and culture design. She enables organisations of all sizes and industries to develop new business models, products and services while applying innovation approaches such as design thinking and lean start-up. As a new work facilitator she trains future skills and purposeful ways of thinking and working. Being guided be the philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’ – she is a bright example of our vibe ‘share to care’.

What for me is better business?

Mindful organisations, whose purpose goes beyond pure profit. Where employees are ignited with passion and commitment for things that create vision and values for themselves, customers, business, society as well as our planet.

When do I feel most human?

Following the South African philosophy of "Ubuntu" I am because we are. This belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity deeply inspired me. Ubuntu stands for everything, where the "I" steps back and the "we" arises.

What am I passionate about?

Enabling change.
